About the atelier
About
Bekah's Baking Atelier is a home bakery based in Lehi, Utah, building custom wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cheesecakes, and confections for the people who order them — not for a display case.
That's the whole idea behind "artistry you can see, magic you can taste": the decorating is the part everyone photographs, but the part that actually matters is what happens when someone takes the first bite.

How an order usually starts
Most projects start with a simple question — what's the occasion, and what does this person actually love? From there, we talk through flavor, size, and design until it feels less like a spec sheet and more like a plan for someone's day. Read more about how a custom order comes together.
Meet Rebekah
Ask Bekah how she learned to bake and the answer is simple: she taught herself, one dessert at a time, and years later that's still basically how it works. "Atelier" is French for workshop, and baking — as a practice — never really stops being one; there's always a new flavor combination or technique worth chasing.
The person behind it all is exactly who you'd hope: fun, bubbly, a little bit crazy, endlessly creative, and happiest when she's treating someone. Bekah is whimsical about the whole process and genuinely lights up over helping bring someone else's vision to life.
But it can't just look good — that's non-negotiable. A cake can be stunning and still fall short if the flavor doesn't hold up its end, which is exactly why the tagline doesn't stop at "artistry you can see." The taste is what actually brings people back.
As for how it all started: Bekah says she fell for baking the year she brought a pumpkin cheesecake to Thanksgiving instead of the usual pie — she liked it better, and so did everyone else. It's been on the table every Thanksgiving since.
Curious what that looks like in practice today? The gallery has a running collection of recent work, and the blog covers everything from flavor pairing to what actually goes into a custom design.
