Answers to common questions about ordering from Bekah's Baking Atelier.
The questions that come up most often when people are ordering for the first time.
How far in advance should I order?
For weddings, 2–3 months out is ideal, especially during peak wedding season. For birthdays and smaller celebration cakes, 2–3 weeks is usually plenty, though we'll always try to accommodate a shorter timeline if we can.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a deposit is required to reserve your date once the design and pricing are finalized. The remaining balance is due before pickup or delivery.
Can you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?
Many of our recipes can be adapted for common allergies or dietary needs. Let us know as early as possible so we can talk through what's realistic — our kitchen isn't allergen-free, so full elimination of cross-contact risk isn't something we can guarantee.
Do you offer delivery?
Pickup and delivery are both available and get worked out when your order is placed. Delivery may include a fee depending on distance.
Is this a licensed commercial kitchen?
We operate as a cottage food business under Utah's cottage food regulations, baking out of a home kitchen. Our food is processed and prepared without the benefit of state or local inspection and is intended for direct consumer consumption only.
